Why Harvest?

Our collectors have intensive in-house training to ensure that they are performing in a professional and effective manner within compliance of the FDCPA and HIPAA.


We have access to the latest technology resources to further increase our recovery. We also have the ability to offer credit card and check by phone payments.

Competitive Fees

Our fees are competitive and are based on the volume and individual value of the accounts – if we do not collect the debt, we do not receive our fee.

Our Mission

Harvest Associates, Inc. is based in Spring, Texas and was founded in 1993. Harvest was started because our affiliate company could not find a collection agency that was small enough to provide personalized service yet large enough to have the resources to get results. With Harvest, we have been able to give our clients the attention that they deserve and do not get from the larger agencies. Our size gives us the flexibility to adapt to changes and individual needs of our clients. Our mission is to form a partnership based on the expressed needs and directives of our clients which yields the highest net return while maintaining relationships.

President and Cheif Executive Officer

Steve has 40 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, finance, administrative, and management. This includes experience with Fortune 500 companies as well as small private companies. During the past 32 years, Steve has focused on services related to the health care field.

Steve is a Past President and board member of The Rotary Club of The Woodlands and a recipient of the prestigious Rotary Paul Harris Award. Other affiliations include LSU Alumni Association, Fellowship of The Woodlands, LINKS of Montgomery County, and South Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.

Steve is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. degree in Marketing and Management and an M.B.A. degree in Finance. Steve is listed in the National Register’s Who’s Who in executives and professionals. Steve currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas with his wife of 40 years, Amy. They have a grown son, a married daughter, a granddaughter and a grandson. Steve enjoys golf, fishing, and travel.

Scott Wolford

Scott has managed medical billing companies for the past thirty (30) years. Scott has over thirty-eight (38) years of professional work experience in commercial banking (Hibernia National Bank), bank consulting (Dataplex), marketing (Xerox Learning Systems), and medical billing and consulting.

Scott is actively involved in the local community, holding leadership positions with several organizations. He is the Past President of The Woodlands Rotary Club, and a recipient of the Paul Harris award. Other affiliations include, the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA), Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers (TAFEC), Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA), Hailey Elementary Mentor Program, Montgomery County Women’s Center, Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals (TORCH), Fellowship Of The Woodlands, and Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI).

Scott is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Finance. Additionally, he has received numerous advanced accreditations from the American Institute of Banking. In 1993, Scott was elected to the Who’s Who Worldwide for his leadership and achievements. He is currently residing in The Woodlands with his wife of 38 years, Kathie. They have two grown sons, two granddaughters and a grandson. In addition to spending time with his grandchildren, Scott enjoys golf, fishing, and motorcycling.
